About Klaus Flück and Winfried Vogt

Klaus Flück was born in Cologne on December 1st, 1960.
After termination of high school he took up his studies of economics at the Cologne university in 1982 . His First Class graduation and the work in his father's company formed the ideal basis for his employment with the Euler Hermes Kredit-versicherungs-AG which started in autumn 1989. Within short time he was very successful in the acquisition in the fields of credit and guarantee insurance as well as factoring. An essential contribution to his success was the establishment of a communication and relation network comprising bankers, credit agencies, industrial consultants and tax advisers.

Winfried Vogt was born in Gelnhausen, Hessen, on February 18th, 1964. After successful termination of high school Mr. Vogt took up his studies of business economics at the Justus-Liebig University in Gießen. At the same time he worked for his parents‘ tax office where he became acquainted with the tax world. In 1988 he terminated his studies as Bachelor of Commerce.

He joined the world of credit insurance in 1989 when he started to work for the Euler Hermes Kreditversicherungs-AG, where he set new targets in the field of acquisition, service and cooperation with bankers and credit agencies. In addition to acquisition and servicing of clients in the fields of credit and guarantee insurance as well as factoring he acted as adviser in the field of national coverage and held balance-sheet discussions in connection with granting of suppliers’ credits.

In 1994 Mr. Flück and Mr. Vogt founded the GfK, Gesellschaft für Kreditversicherungsservice mbH, which celebrated its 15th anniversary in 2009. We used this as an occasion to establish the present foundation after 15 successful years.

In 2001 Mr. Vogt opened a separate broker agency in Austria,   the ICBA Austria,  and in 2006 Mr. Flück and Mr. Vogt together founded the GfK, Gesellschaft für Kreditversicherungsservice GmbH in Glarus, Switzerland. In addition Mr. Flück and Mr. Vogt own the Klaus Flück and Winfried Vogt company for market-oriented business administration which offers training and workshops at insurance companies and service partners as well as consulting in the field of accounts receivable management.

With regard to our personal hobbies sport always was of big importance. Mr. Vogt was well known as an important figure in hockey and tennis on national venues already in his youth, so is Mr. Flück in tennis today. Herefrom results the sportive ambition with regard to our company‘s goals and objectives as well as the fair and cooperative contact.

Today, beside a lot of duties and responsibilities, Mr. Flück looks for recreation by making Yoga, whereas Mr. Vogt devotes himself to golf and skiing in wintertime. As the successful management of a company is not only based on a lot of personal engagement and commitment, but also on a little bit of luck which was ours over the past years, we decided to give a part of our success to other people within the framework of our foundation.
